Wei Cui

Current Position

Wei is now a Ph.D. student in Japanese History at Yale University.

Background

Wei is from Sichuan Province in China where the rainy weather is very different from Santa Barbara. Using his knowledge in physics, he collaborated with people in the group and made contributions to their work. Wei enjoys reading and gardening when he has free time. When back in his home city, he loves transplanting wild maple or pine trees to make bonsai.

Research

Wei performed DFT calculations on various cathode materials using CRYSTAL which produces theoretical predictions for NMR spectroscopy, thus helping the experimentalists in the group.
