Background

I grew up in the southwest mountainous region of China where the weather resembles Santa Barbara a lot. Right after college, I moved to the United States to pursue my Ph.D. degree. I love experiencing different cultures and all kinds of food. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and hiking.

Current Research

My current research focuses on comprehensively understanding the structural behavior of Disordered Rocksalt cathode materials under charging and discharging cycles. Another goal would be determining important chemical factors that influence the stability and capacity of  Disordered Rocksalt cathode materials.
