Current Position

Joyce is now an Ultrapure Water Engineer at Intel.

Background

Joyce is from Palo Alto, California, and was a Chemical Engineering student at UCSB. She enjoyed her Electrochemical Methods class with Professor Clément so much that she decided to ask to join the Clément research group. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and going biking.

Research

Her work focused on synthesizing cation-disordered rocksalt oxides for use as Li-ion cathode materials and studying their structural and electrochemical properties.
