Anaya Khanzode

Background

I’m Anaya, a Chemistry and Biochemistry student in the College of Creative Studies. I am very interested in the real-life applications of inorganic chemistry, like batteries. I love the outdoors and traveling, and you can always find me looking for adventure in Santa Barbara. I love swimming in open water, birdwatching, going to concerts, and eating spicy food.

Current Research

I am working with Euan Bassey to understand the magnetic and electronic properties of Li-ion and Na-ion cathodes using X-ray diffraction, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR).
