Alexis Manche

Current Position

Alexis is now a Ph.D. student in Prof. A. Robert Armstrong's lab at the University of St. Andrews.

Background

Alexis grew up in a small town in central France and then moved to the southwest of France in Bordeaux to continue his studies. During his B.Sc. he learned the basics of physics and chemistry. Then he followed up with an M.Sc. in Physics-Chemistry and Chemical-Physics during which he started to work on new cathode materials for rechargeable batteries. In his free time, Alexis works out, skis, or reads philosophy and history.
